Drugs around the world: In Ireland males and females have the biggest rates of alcohol abuse. So when people brag about how they are Irish or say that they are Irish show them the rates of alcohol abuse. Out of 21 Countries Ireland and Portland are the two top risks for alcohol abuse.

Alcohol Poisoning: Alcohol poisoning can be deathly. Alcohol can be enjoyable with he right amount used, but also very dangerous to the point of death. You can OD on alcohol? Some might ask. Well the answer is yes. There are often cases of alcohol poisoning at college parties or just parties in general. Your friend or loved one is having a great time and drinking with everyone then one night they go to bed and never wake up.

Alcohol depresses nerves that control individual actions, such as breathing and the gag reflex. It is common in alcohol poisoning that you throw up. While you might think throwing up is the best for the situation it is not. Water is. Fluids will help clean out your stomach.

For Families who have gone through a loved ones drug abuse and watch the process happen there isn't anything you can do but encourage them to get the help they need, such as AA. AA is where you go and meet up with other addicts for just people that are having troubles in life and have the courage to come up and say it, and tell their stories to others. Hoping that their story will help someone who is going through a similar situation to speak up as well. If the illness (addiction) is extreme you or your loved one can find help at detox. Detox is a like a sober home but you have absolutely no way of getting to your drug of choice. You are put in a room, unable to reach any drugs. This may seem severe and awful but you do what you have to do when you have a family. Other ways are just talking and going to the doctor to get directed to these meetings and detox centers.

How do you abuse a prescription drug you ask, well you can often find extra prescription drugs from others that actually need it. These people sometimes will sell it to you, if they have an over prescribed.

Sometimes people will even steal prescription drugs from a loved one or just a friend, its strange what drugs can do to ones mind.

One example of a drug that is said to be sold that is prescribed is Adderall. Adderall is used for your central nervous system that stimulants the affects in chemicals in the brain and nerves that contribute to hyperactivity and impulse control.

Hello bloggers sorry I have not been on for awhile but I am making this post a personal post. Meaning that I am going to state my personal view on drugs and there impact on today.
First off I believe that moderation is key for many things, drugs being one. Drinking being one of the main drugs that should be done in moderation. Alcohol poisoning is becoming more and more common throughout todays society.
My view on the legalization of marijuana is a good thing, due to already having it be legal in Colorado and Oregon etc. This drug is used for medicine, which I think is very useful. Many people with anxiety smoke it and feel more relaxed. I believe that the law saying you must be 21 should be lowered to 18 seeing that many people already do smoke this breaking the law, but if the law was changed it wouldn't be so bad. Many people voted yes on the ballot and it worked! There is now going to be dispensers around MA. You are also allowed 6 plants per home.

Question number 4 got voted yes on the ballot!

Marijuana is legal December 15th.
